Hey chaps, wondered if you've encountered this before.

I just cottoned onto this issue the last couple of days when things stopped working at 935pm for no real apparent reason. Had a look at the logs and now I'm head scratching! Did have a quick look through the Frtiz settings to see if there was a reconnect every 12hr thing somewhere but did not see it.

So after a horrible day dealing with Vodafone's atrocious customer service I decided to look at other ISPs. I've settled on Orcon and I'm wondering what the switching over process is?

I need to get a VoIP modem from Orcon so assume this is the modem they send if you select the Home phone option on the sign up process?

Will my connection with Vodafone automatically be shut off or do I need to notify Vodafone to close my account?

It will take a few days apparently for the modem to arrive, in that time will I still be able to use the Vodafone account that I've paid for, even if the home number is being switched to Orcon?

Will the Geekzone Orcon deal ever come back? Would be good to know this before I make the change.

... anything else I need to keep in mind?

I have an orcon email address which I use, amongst other things, for tardme. I noticed this new problem a while ago - when I send emails to Gmail users, they are usually dropped. If the other party emails to me first, my reply is usually allowed through, but even that seems hit and miss.

Do other orcon users have this trouble?

Do you think it'll be at the orcon or gmail end?

Hi, I look after a couple of clients who are on 2Talk, on the old management platform under "Line Manager" you could manage port forwards to forward through the CG-NAT.

Since moving to the new platform the port forwards I had in place have been retained, but I cannot find where to manage them. Any Ideas?? Its probably staring me in the face............ but :(
