Last week my family made international calls. No problem. On Monday we tried calling overseas, the phone dials, then nothing. No ring tone, no beeping, no busy tone, just nothing.I talked to Slingshots technical support which after almost an hour came to the conclusion that the number I try dialing is incorrect and the problem does not seem to be on their end as they are able to connect to other international numbers, just not the one I am trying to dial.The problem here is that I dialed several different numbers of 2 different countries, with the same result. The phone dials, then nothing. And I can see on my call history online that if I listen to the nothingness a little to long, hoping for a ring tone, I get charged for the first minute.I am able to dial local numbers fine. I am able to call my landline and it works fine. Only international calls do not seem to work as of Monday.I have tried to explain to Slingshot that I can dial the number, they say does not work, fine via my Vodafone mobile. I have tried to explain that other international numbers do not work also. They have no explanation.Our home phone is connected to our fibre box. I have tried restarting it, just in case this is the issue. It did not help the issue.So, I am open to anyone who might have had this problem before or might have any suggestions on what to do next.
