Setting up Netcomm NF4V

Hi all

I am sure many of you guys on Fibre have got this modem (Netcomm NF4V). What I am trying to do: I am trying to set up the modem so that I can use a different router (DLINK DIR269 AC1750) for the wifi and not the Netcomm. Why? The DLINK's wifi is way faster. Since fibre has been connected, the mode has shifted away from my main computer so I cant get on a wired connection.

From my understanding, I am supposed to set up the modem in bridge mode so that the WAN connection just passes through. I have tried to do this but I cannot find any decent guides for doing this. But since I am sure there are many of you that have already done this, I was hoping someone can lend me a hand.

I have 2 questions:

1. Would my phoneline be affected (I currently need to connect this to the Netcomm).

2. How can I set up my Netcomm so that it lets the DLINK do all the routing (I would prefer to do this instead of setting it up as an access point. My NAS for backing up things and running Plex would also be connected to the DLINK.

Thanks.
