Do slingshot really not do any wiring/splitter install for Naked VDSL plans?

Hello,I'm on ADSL now and was keen to move up to VDSL since its avail at my address for about the same price, however I done a bit of a google around and found numerous forum posts that suggest if you choose a naked plan Slingshot will not arrange/provide any chorus install - they just rely on your existing wiring to be "good enough". This is contrary to what their website states "A technician will need to install a new VDSL master-splitter and new master jack point inside your home. Standard installation and wiring should be done by a technician and should be completed the same day. You'll need to be at home during the installation so the technician can make sure you are happy with what is being proposed."I'm worried that I likely wont get the best experience possible if they actually don't do this. I'm hoping someone from slingshot can confirm. Also for the geeks that know more about this stuff: since there is no "voice" interference on a naked plan I can kind of see there may not be a need for a splitter but what about the standard telephone cabling and jack points etc, is this suitable for VDSL? Is it actually common practice for the other providers to not do an 'install' for a naked VDSL plan?
