We're all uni students in a flat on Rolleston Street in Mount Cook, Wellington, right across the road from Massey. Don't know if this is relevant but our address is a bit weird in the fact that it was originally a single 2 storey house that the owner has split each floor into a separate dwelling but we still all share internet. I got in touch with Slingshot to upgrade our flat to Fibre as we're currently on ADSL with them, go through the agreement details and get told to wait for a call from Chorus to arrange an inspection time.About a week or so later I get a call from Slingshot telling me that fibre isn't available at our location and they don't have any other details to expand on why thats the case. I call Chorus to double check and they tell me that no, we are indeed able to get fibre and to tell Slingshot this and just go through the process again. We signup again and they tell us not to worry, our address looks fine on their endI just got a text from them telling me to call their helpline where the call rep had no idea what was happening and just told us we had a note on our file saying we aren't able get fibre. They weren't very helpful and didn't want to look into it further. We seem to just be going round in circles. Is this just Slingshot being unable to provide the service or is it some sort misscommunication and how do we sort this? Any advice on where to go from here would be great thanks
