No ADSL internet at home last night. Checked the Network Updates and Fault History on Slingshot site before heading home, the site has no records of a problem (even this morning). Call Slingshot, after about an hour on the phone the SS tech finally checks something and says, oh yeah, there was a problem in Wellington this morning and its still being sorted! Why wasn't the SS website updated to tell me this! Could've saved time and aggro. Why bother having that part of the site? Why weren't the techs informed? This is my second major outage recently where I've gone all night without it. Grrrrr. Plimmerton exchange.
