So just had the tech round today wiring up my VDSL, got home from work and setup modem and everything only to find out my speed only increased by 5mbit this doesn't seem like a very big jump to me i'll throw some numbers in here so you have an idea.ADSL was 17mbit down and 1mbit up (yesterday)VDSL is now 22mbit down and 7mbit up (upload is far better but i rarely upload anything)At my previous address on ADSL i was getting 21mbit down and 2mbit up, i'm just a bit worried that i went through all this trouble and i'm paying and extra $12 for a couple hundred kb/s IMHO its not really worth it, not to mention i had to get rid of my much loved Netgear N300 in place of this upright plain box that is awkward and large and has a huge footprint on my workspace. Are there any hints or tricks to get more out of my connection, previous experience with routers went as far as port forwarding and static ip's to host some game server's
