HiI try and watch some ISKY at home but get constant buffering issues, this has been going on for about 6-9 months. I have put up for it for this for a long time but have finally had enough. It happens across all live channels, i do operate a wireless connection but i have also wired it to the router and have had the same issues. I watch other webvideo of equal or better quality with no issues at all. My connection seems good enough. Usually sits between 5-10 Mbps depending on time of day.I have watch ISKY at various times during the day and night but experence has stayed the same.I have watched ISKY on my account at work and have had a seamless experience, but at home no joy.I am wondering where the problem lies. From what i read on forums you tracert cdn.isky.co.nz i don't know if this is correct?Tracing route to fm-p9345.id.velocix.com [60.234.60.202]over a maximum of 30 hops: 1 3 ms * <1 ms www.routerlogin.net [192.168.0.1] 2 18 ms * 17 ms 202.180.81.26 3 29 ms * 231 ms p69.pool-82.callplus.net.nz [202.180.82.69] 4 21 ms * 18 ms vlan7-cpcak3-s1.tranzpeer.net [202.180.81.49] 5 19 ms * 33 ms 119-224-142-138.callplus.net.nz [119.224.142.138] 6 19 ms * 25 ms ge-0-1-5-0.cre1.nct.orcon.net.nz [121.98.9.9] 7 21 ms * 32 ms 60.234.60.202Trace complete.Otherwise my modem stats are Connection Speed 14087 kbps 1145 kbpsNoise Margin 11.9 db 12.5 dbLine Attenuation 11.5 db 4.4 dbSome help on this would be much appreciated, I have tried contacting slingshot first by their online contact form, I was replied back to, but i was told to contact isky, the second by phone to slingshot only to talks to a rep, put on hold for 10min while he asked someone a question and then hung up on.I am out of contract so if the the conclusion is the ISP then i will drop them and try someone else(if they cant fix it). otherwise if it is on my end or skys what do you suggest?
